South Indian director Prasanth Varma is coming with his vision great vision and starting a cinematic universe like Marvel, DC based on Indian mythology superheroes called ‘Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe’ aka ‘PVCU’. The first installment of this universe ‘HanuMan’ has already been released in theatres & OTT and it was become super hit. Director Prasanth Varma gained a lot of fame after this film and was able set hype among the cinephiles towards his cinematic universe.

Seeing the success of HanuMan, makers are quite super confident taking the PVCU. As it was announced “Jai Hanuman”, as the sequel of HanuMan in its end credit scene, now they are working on that project. The work is going good and recently a exciting update is dropped by the makers.

On the auspicious occasion of Happy Diwali, makers celebrated it with fans and by unveiling the first look poster of Jai Hanuman, the lead actor for Hanuman character is revealed.

If you have seen the first part, you are aware that the worshiper of Jai Shree Ram, ‘Hanuman’ face was not revealed. Only his body parts and closed up shots were shown in that film. Actor Teja Sajja was played the character of Hanuman, but he was not the real Hanuman. He was just a normal human being who gets the power source of Hanuman due to circumstances of his life.

Who is the lead actor in Jai Hanuman?

In the release time of HanuMan, the rumor was coming that ‘Mega Star Chiranjeevi‘ will be seen as the Lord Hanuman in film. But it did not happen. Now, the suspense is not anymore as because finally the makers have revealed that actor who will portray the role of Lord Hanuman. Do you know who is he? Any guesses? Don’t worry guys, I am just going to tell the name of that actor. He has already been awarded by National Film Award for best actor in an action thriller film released in 2022 where a supernatural power of a village tradition was shown. I think, now you have got it. Yes guys, he is none other than the actor & director of ‘Kantara’ film, ‘Rishab Shetty‘. He is going to play the character of Jai Hanuman. I can say it is one of the best choice the makers have done. As because Rishab Shetty has already done supernatural character perfectly in Kantara and in upcoming Kantara Part 2. So, he was capable to play like this type of characters.

Recently, the first look poster is out. The poster features him in the look of Lord Hanuman, and he is holding the statue of Shree Ram on his chest.

Written & directed by Prasanth Varma, Jai Hauman is set in no 7 as per the timeline of PVCU. It is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers associated with PVCU. The first part was produced by Niranjan Reddy under Primeshow Entertainments, starring Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vinay Rai in key roles.

It will be interesting to see how director Prasanth Varma will continue the story from the first part and their characters especially Teja Sajja will appear or not. Like first part, “Jai Hanuman” will also be released in all Pan India languages like Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam and available in 3D IMAX.

Prasanth Varma has a great vision taking the PVCU. In a press meet, he said that he has 10 films ideas for this universe. Long time ago, he was also announced the next superhero ‘Adhira’ in this universe. Currently, there is no update of that film. Few people said that it is shelved.

But recently in latest Happy Dusshera festival, the makers are introducing the third superhero from the PVCU.
