Kalki 2898AD, known as Project K, is an upcoming highly anticipated Indian action sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. It stars Prabhas as the main protagonist, who descends to Earth as an Avatar of Lord Vishnu to protect the world from evil forces. Alongside him, Deepika Padukone portrays the female lead and Amitabh Bachchan as in the role of the immortal being Ashwatthama. Disha Patani will also be seen in the movie.
Fans have eagerly awaited this movie, as it has generated significant hype due to its characters, background music, storyline, and world-building, all of which look promising based on glimpses of the movie. Initially scheduled for release on May 9, 2024, the movie was postponed due to elections. However, after teasing fans multiple times, the filmmakers announced that Kalki 2898 AD will hit theaters worldwide on June 27, 2024.
Just a while ago, the makers released a new poster on their official social media page, making a major announcement on a Saturday at 5:00 PM (April 27). Here is the poster.

Kalki 2898AD is the biggest film of the India which budget is around 600 crores. It is a highly VFX movie. Both of past and future world will be shown in the movie. As rumour, the story of Kalki will start from the Mahabharata.
Legendary actor Kamal Hassan is also cast in the movie for an important role. Buzz: Jr NTR has a cameo in the Kalki 2898AD.
On the fastival of Mahashivratri, the makers dropped a poster of “Bhairava” played by Darling Prabhas ‘From the future streets of Kasi’.
The first glimpse of Kalki 2898AD was launched on the event of the San Diego Comic Con internationally.
Recently the makers posted Prabhas and Disha Patani together on social media. Both of them went to Italy for shoot. It may be for a song shoot.
There will also be a mass song in the movie. A long time ago, makers uploaded a short video where Prabhas’s foots did a footstep dance.
