They Call Him OG

Power star Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘They Call Him OG’ is an upcoming gangster drama film written and directed by Sujeeth (Saaho).

A year back, the film was announced by the production house DVV Entertainments, and the filming was kick started from that time. Till date, the film takes a long time and still not completed its filming. After becoming a Minister, Superstar Pawan Kalyan is giving his more time in Politics. He has many commitments for his political career that’s why he could not completed his all movies in a sufficient time.

Currently there are three movies on his hand including ‘OG’ and it was being delayed time by time. But finally, Pawan Kalyan is back this Dusshera. Striking a behind the scenes pic from the set, OG makers reveal that the film’s shooting is resumed.

Fans are very excited taking this film where Pawan Kalyan is playing a role of gangster, and he is expert in sword fighting. In a interview, director Sujeeth revealed the meaning of film’s titled which stands for “Ojhaas Gambheera”- Ojhaas is the master’s name, and Gambheera will be the hero’s name.

As per the initial plan, the makers were planned to release this film till this year. But later it did not happen due to the reason of film’s OTT rights condition. That’s why it has scheduled for the next year. Makers might plan for Sankranthi release. Let’s see.

It boasts a strong star cast including Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy in key roles. DDV Entertainment is producing the film while Thaman S is composing the music.
